Some new content here -- its been delayed in the first couple of months of 2011, so sorry for that. However, to make up for it why not take a look at the maths and sport portal?
Have you visited stemNRICH recently? There are many new challenges in which the links between mathematics and the sciences are celebrated.
We have managed to secure funding to run a sequence of free teacher inspiration days on STEM topics.
I am starting some research into mathematical creativitiy. Not sure where its going yet, but it will probably be somewhere interesting.
We have been looking at the setup of some new blog pages to share thoughts and so on concerning intestigations and such. It is called 'z', which I like! Z lives at http://nrich.maths.org/z

Steve looks after all aspects of the Stage 5 parts of NRICH. He likes inventing maths problems and activities on anything to do with maths. You can email him on post16.nrich@maths.org if you'd like to see something specific.

Steve has a PhD in M-theory and a maths degree from Cambridge and likes maths. He is keen that all students are given the opportunity to enjoy maths irrespective of their particular interests. You might want to take a look at his book if you are planning on doing maths at university. You can read the first chapter online.

Alison looks after the Stage 4 parts of NRICH and also those parts which cross over into Stage 5.

Alison studied maths at Trinity College in Cambridge and is particularly keen to get your teachers to use NRICH in their regular lessons. How good would that be?!
