The NRICH weekly challenges are aimed at Post-16 students to provide an interesting, shorter challenge to try out each week which will fit around any usual course of study. Each challenge is designed to be simple to get into and to cover an important and intriguing area of mathematics. Each challenge has links to further reading and other problems for the interested student/class. Many of the
challenges will contain extension tasks (which might be much more difficult than the main challenge!) and you might be inspired to extend the tasks yourself with 'What if?' questions. We are re-running the cycle of challenges with links to our blog site giving you the chance to discuss, share and extend the challenges.
We also publish weekly problems based around the sorts of curriculum areas typically covered at ages 11 - 16.
