In each set the buttons control 4 numbers. </li> <li> Click some buttons to see what happens. </li> <li> The numbers define a line. There are two coordinates for each end of a line. </li> <li> Set all the coordinates to zero, and then enter the values in the screen shot above. </li> <li> You now have two sides of the letter A . Can you add a third line for the cross bar ? </li> <li> What are the coordinates for the top point of the letter A ? </li> <li> You can have up to five lines showing, but if you don't want a line at any time just set all four coordinates to zero and it shrinks to the origin (0,0). </li> </ul> In the RED Spot game you are trying to make letters of the alphabet. <ul> <li> Start anywhere you like : maybe with the letters of your name </li> <li> You score a point for every letter you can do. </li> <li> Plus an extra point for each line in a letter that goes through any Red Spot </li> <li> You can have up to three red spots. </li> <li> Challenge someone else. Or if you are working by yourself get some practice in, ready for when you can challenge someone. </li> <li> Invent some rules of your own : perhaps make up rules about how you take turns, what lines you can move and by how much. </li> </ul> Be inventive - it's your game !
